About

I am an Associate Professor at the School of Law, Renmin University of China. My research focuses on criminal law, empirical legal studies, and judicial behavior. I employ quantitative methods to study sentencing decisions and the functioning of criminal justice systems.

I hold a J.S.D. and LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School, an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Oxford, and dual bachelor's degrees (LL.B. and B.B.A.) from Tsinghua University. I am admitted to practice law in both New York State and China.

Methodology
